13th Annual Art Palooza Promotes Fun for All AbilitiesPosted Mar. 26, 2014
The 13th annual Art Palooza event at the Twinsburg Community Center offered several crafts and activities for child to express themselves. A hint of spring was in the air on March 15th as the sun came out to help brighten this event in which over 500 attendees participated.
Art Palooza provided a showcase for local students to display their artwork as well as an opportunity for children of all ability levels to create individual works of art at hands-on stations. Station activities allowed participants to create noodle jewelry, pinto bean noisemakers, painted butterflies, and a drum circle.
Adaptive art supplies and a team of enthusiastic volunteers let all who came explore their creative side. The Regional Academic Center was honored to participate in the event where the focus is on the ability of children to create, not on the disability.
