Alternative Spring Break Comes to Columbiana County
Students from across the Kent State University eight-campus system are coming to Columbiana County as part of the University’s “Alternative Spring Break” program. The week-long event pairs teams of college students with area non-profit organizations. Each day, students will head out to a worksite and volunteer doing a range of activities.

Kent State Salem Offers Students Counseling Services
Professional Mental Health Counselor Kathrine Vance-Righetti, M.Ed. P.C./C.R. joined Kent State University at Salem this semester as the campus’ on-site counselor.Services include individual and group counseling, educational seminars, workshops and wellness events. Her services are free to currently enrolled Kent State Salem students.

Two Opportunities to Attend BSN Pre-Nursing Student Meeting
Any current student that is taking courses and planning to enter Kent State Salem's Bachelor's of Science in Nursing program should try to attend the Pre-Nursing Student Meeting this Thursday, Feb. 2 at 3 or next Wednesday. Feb 8. Both meetings will be held at 3 p.m. in the Health and Science's Wing new lecture hall.
