Medical Billing

The Medical Billing Certificate program at Kent State Salem offers students a quick entry into the workforce in a field where job opportunities are plentiful.

The January - summer program is convenient for today's working students with courses being held in the evenings and the amount of time you will spend in class reduced by using many online exercises.

All courses in the program are University classes and can be used in earning an associate or bachelor's degree. Financial aid is available for qualified students.

Students in the Medical Billing Certificate wishing to continue their education have the opportunity to apply 12-15 credit hours from the certificate toward an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Human Services Technology.  Please contact the HST Academic Program Director for more information.

Call Kent State University at Salem today to schedule an appointment with an admissions representative to discuss how you can start the program.
